Sociologist and Director of Master of Public Administration (MPA) at UMASS Lowell where we offer a concentration in Public Humanities and Arts. I believe poetry may be what we need to revitalize our civic life and resist the negative social forces of injustice and hate. I spent many many years writing poetry before my academic life took over, and now I live in Salem, MA with may family and dog. :)
